We are committed to a decentralised approach to culture and call on educators and teaching specialists from the Metn region to develop teaching programmes aimed at young people, students, professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Writing, dance, theatre, movement, video or sound design, intersectional and multidisciplinary somatic research, three-day to three-week residencies for groups of individuals, collectives, ensembles, human wills. An indoor and outdoor time-space, and a garden where you can bring your process to life, where you can make a journey.

The opportunities for residency and intersectional, multidisciplinary research mean that you can land for a few days with your “work in progress” to work on the material and let it soak up the very special context of the house, the silkworm nursery and the garden. Different formats are welcome, and we’ll work on them together.

We strive to open the space at Fraykeh for research in the fields of dance, embodiment and somatics as we believe the space is perfectly suited for these practices. Corinne Skaff has been hosting a Contact Camp and DanceScapes regularily since 2018, bringing the collective and moving body to life.
